The ICNC "Fund the Impact" event is a must attend event in support of Impact Culinary. Featuring small bites, crafted drinks and a 4-course meal prepared by chefs from some of Chicago's leading kitchens. Proceeds will go towards scholarships for IMPACT students, allowing them to pursue education at no-cost.
The Industrial Council of Nearwest Chicago (ICNC)'s Make City incubator is one of the largest and oldest incubators in the country. Built in the 1980s, ICNC provides growing companies in a wide variety of industries affordable space, business assistance, and an entrepreneurial community that they can both benefit from and contribute to.
Designed by Chef Rick Bayless in partnership with the ICNC, IMPACT intensively trains aspiring cooks at The Hatchery, Chicago’s premier nonprofit food incubator. During their training, students receive a high-level culinary education, essential professional skills, intensive one-on-one mentoring, and paid, on-the-job training.
